Our local community centers are the heartbeat of our towns and villages. I am thrilled to report that four key voluntary associations have had their capital grant applications approved in full.
The funds will immediately go towards:
- Installing energy-efficient heat pump systems and rooftop solar PV arrays to slash winter heating bills.
- Expanding multi-purpose activity halls to accommodate youth theatre, senior fitness clubs, and mother-and-toddler sessions.
- Upgrading full disability access, including automatic entrance doors and modern accessible facilities.

Work is expected to commence before the end of the quarter with minimal disruption to ongoing community group bookings.
